Started in 2018, the ProLab is a practical filmmaking program in which students at SUNY Cortland collaborate with Professor Sam Avery to write, direct, and edit a series of films each semester. ProLab students operate as a professional film crew and have produced a number of short form narratives (comedies, dramas, thrillers, etc) and promotional videos for local organizations.
